Ukrainian Crested hens are good layers of creamy eggs (around 150 – 180 eggs per year of weight 55 g per each). They start laying when they are just 6 months old, and tend to go broody too. In addition to being a good utility bird, the Ukrainian Crested is raised for showy purposes as well.
